Planning Your Own Destination Wedding in Cabo San Lucas?
Amy and Ofir’s Cabo wedding was everything a destination celebration should be: full of life, fashion, tequila, and real emotion. We were beyond honored to capture not just the look of it all—but the soul of who they are together.
Reliving It All
For their wedding, Amy and Ofir chose The Cape—a beachfront sanctuary perched above the Sea of Cortez. Every view framed El Arco. Every detail was intentional. And the terrace? Transformed into a floral dreamscape.
Cocktail hour hit the rooftop just in time for the most unreal sunset. A live DJ, custom margaritas, and champagne towers kept the energy sky-high. The golden glow felt like it was cast just for them.
The reception? A never ending vibe—in the best way. The DJ kept the dance floor packed, fireworks lit up the night sky, and at one point, Ofir tried to crowd surf on a surfboard. Yes, really. Tequila flowed. Laughter echoed. It was wild, joyful, and unforgettable.
The Wedding Day at The Cape
Night one kicked off at El Huerto, a lush farm-to-table restaurant tucked into Cabo’s vibrant landscape. Think fruit trees, organic gardens, and Baja hacienda vibes under golden hour light.
Guests arrived to a cocktail hour dressed in all white, sipping beautifully garnished drinks as the sun dipped behind the mountains. It was chic, fresh, and laid-back—exactly what you want to set the tone. Long farm tables, heartfelt toasts, and a few rounds of tequila later, the weekend had officially begun.
A Farm-to-Table Welcome at El Huerto
Amy first heard about us through a mutual friend in LA—but it wasn’t until she and Ofir started working with their Mexico planner, the legendary Karla Casillas, that everything clicked. We’ve worked with Karla many times, and when she recommended us, Amy and Ofir put two and two together.
Right after their inquiry, we hopped on a call—and it just *worked*. Wildest part? We were all set to run into each other just a few weeks later at a gala we happened to be filming. Call it timing. Call it fate. Either way, we were in.
They knew they wanted the richness of Mexican culture, the warmth of its people, and the electric, laid-back magic of Cabo. The decision was easy.
From a Gala to the Wedding
Will literally killed it and managed to perfectly showcase all of the different vibes in one film. I don't know how he does it but he made our wedding look like a full-blown Netflix show. Will is so talented it's actually insane."
