The backstory
Miranda and Andrew’s story started at a bar in South Carolina—she spotted him behind the drums, and that was it. Love at first sight. From college nights to career moves, they built a life together in Washington, DC—Miranda pursuing law at George Washington University, Andrew diving into the events world with Pike Productions.
So when it came time to plan their wedding, the vision was clear: a celebration that was equal parts old-world European elegance and a tribute to their roots—California and Maryland. As a Washington DC wedding videographer, this wedding hit every note for us: thoughtful, stylish, historic, and most of all, real.

Miranda and Andrew weren’t interested in anything overly posed or perfectly curated—they wanted a wedding film that felt true. That breathed. That let the moments speak for themselves.
It’s exactly what we live for—capturing the raw, the real, and the in-between. They told us they were drawn to our energy: the music, the movement, the edge. A little unexpected. Bold and honest. Their words, not ours.
DC Charm Meets Big Energy
They chose Meridian House—a timeless gem tucked in the heart of DC, known for its manicured gardens and French-style architecture that feels straight out of a European dream. In their own words, “the finest example of French urban architecture in the United States.”
It was the perfect match for their vibe—elegant but never stiff. Sophisticated with just enough room to let loose.
From the ivy-lined terrace to the grand interior spaces, every corner of Meridian House framed their day like a film set. The ceremony felt intimate and serene. Cocktail hour flowed through the garden. And as night fell, the party moved inside where architecture met atmosphere—and Andrew, of course, closed it all out with a surprise drum solo alongside the band. Epic doesn’t begin to describe it.

A Film That Feels Like Them
The music selections are exactly the vibe we were going for. The part where Alex starts her toast and asks Josh to start the timer and Will drops in that fast cymbal beat GENIUS. The edit of Andrew’s boss reading the list of banned devices at the very end absolutely killed us. We laughed, we cried, felt all the feels reliving the big day.”
