THE BACKSTORY
Sarah and Matt’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration—it was a full-on experience. Set at Matt’s childhood home on the Eastern Shore and brought to life by Sarah’s impeccable eye for detail, the weekend radiated heart, style, and the kind of warmth only family can bring.

The next day unfolded on a private estate just outside Annapolis, Maryland—perched on a misty lake that gave the whole scene a quiet kind of magic. Sarah and Matt spent the morning separately, surrounded by their people, music, and that pre-wedding energy you can’t fake. When they finally met for their first look, it was all tears, joy, and that feeling of *this is it*.
The ceremony took place under a chuppah framed by towering trees, with their guests looking on in awe. This wasn’t just a moment—it was a memory in the making. Cocktail hour followed in the backyard, with a live jazz ensemble floating through the golden air and sunlight breaking through the canopy above. Every clink of a glass, every laugh—it all just… worked.
And then came the party. The reception was alive with a full band and nonstop dancing—but the real twist? The after-party. A family basketball arena turned nightclub, complete with disco balls, espresso martinis, and a whole lot of mood. It was dark, glittering, and absolutely unhinged in the best way.
Unforgettable doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Day Two: A Wedding That Felt Like Home
The festivities kicked off in the heart of Washington, DC, on the rooftop of 20 F Street—overlooking Union Station and lit by city glow. Every single guest (yep, all 220+) was invited to the welcome party, because to Sarah and Matt, everyone was family. Dreamy, nostalgic toasts poured in from their closest friends, sparking raw, visceral memories and setting the tone for what was to come.
Day One: The Toasts That Started It All
This is SO DAMN GOOD. My friend who is a documentary filmmaker said he can’t believe how genuinely astounding it is - shot beautifully, edited beautifully.”
